Shaanxi Qingneng Power Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Qingneng Technology"), relying on the R&D team led by Xi'an Jiaotong University, focuses on the research and development of green hydrogen materials and key core components, and provides key materials and components such as catalysts and catalytic electrodes, electrolytic water hydrogen production equipment (including experimental equipment), and comprehensive green hydrogen solutions to meet the era's tasks and market demands of energy conservation, carbon reduction, and dual carbon strategies for chemical and power groups.
Qualifications Patents
The company is committed to achieving breakthroughs in key technologies and key links in the upstream of the green hydrogen industry chain. The company's product system includes non precious metal and precious metal catalyst powders, ALK/PEM/AEM catalytic electrodes, electrolytic water hydrogen production systems, etc. At present, we have 2 invention patents and have applied for 33 new invention patents, of which 26 have entered the substantive examination stage and 4 have entered the invention publication stage. We have obtained ISO three system certification and EU CE certification. In 2023, it will receive special funding support from the Shaanxi Provincial Key R&D Program for the integration of the "two chains".

The main types and technical features of hydrogen generators

Pure water type (PEM electrolysis): Only pure water is electrolyzed, no alkaline substances are added. A titanium alloy electrolytic cell and a stainless steel gas path structure are adopted. The advantages include high hydrogen purity (≥99.999%), low power consumption (about 150W), zero pollution, but the costs of PEM membranes and catalysts are relatively high.

Step-by-step explanation of the working process of the hydrogen generator

Electrolysis stage: Current passes through the electrolytic cell, and water molecules undergo oxidation-reduction reactions at the electrodes. Hydrogen gas is produced at the cathode, and oxygen gas is produced at the anode. In pure water type equipment, the gases are isolated by a PEM membrane to prevent mixing, while in alkaline type equipment, ion conduction is achieved through a liquid electrolyte.
